Where in the world has the summer gone?! We ask ourselves this at least once daily. Since we’ve been home from Europe time has just flown!
The beginning of July my trusty horse pal Polly foaled yet again. Her mommy instincts were in full force whilst trying to capture a photo of the cute colt. This is about as good as it got - Polly, Dalgo (last years colt) and Smoky, affectionately named in honor of the smoky haze of Sanpete Valley that he was born into.
Do you think Polly’s mocking me?
The 4th of July was pretty low key this year. We drove south to Blanding to join the festivities. Kyle was on traffic detail and luckily took the intersection at Adam’s mom’s place. Best seats in town!
Casen loved how the fire trucks got us all wet and sent water gushing down the gutters. He splashed and carried on and paid zero attention to any candy thrown to him. I was so proud!
Casen loves the ‘cage’ in Kyle’s car. He spends long amounts of time there on the rare occasion Kyle will allow him to.
We watched the parade from Letha’s front yard. She is so kind to allow us Curtis’ to crash their ideal site.
Some guy drove up on a razor, handed Adam a glass Heineken bottle and zipped off. Adam was elated. He insists it’s homemade root beer…
To say the nieces and nephews adore Ked and Krit would be an understatement…
I stumbled upon Kyle adjusting his Class A uniform the night before we left for Aaron’s funeral. Although there’s no way UHP would’ve allowed Kyle to attend in such crazy attire, we both decided Aaron would have appreciated it.
