A Missionary Weekend Part 1

Kelvin's farewell was last weekend, so we traveled down to good ol' 'Cello. It was super fantastic fun, as it always is when we go down. The dogs were great travelers.
Kelv had a lot of friens from Snow come down. Who knew he was so popular?! :)

WE-

-doted on little Zia - she is a funny little girl

-laughed at Uncle Brian and Kyle as they tried slack lining for the first time

-ate copious amounts of Mom Curtis' amazing cooking

-took Kelvin's friends repelling

-saw Jail Rock...
...where supposedly back in the day the man who lived on the land Jail Rock is on would put his family down into it with food, pull out the ladder, and go into town to get stuff. Another story I've heard is that back in the day, the inmates arrested were put into this hole without a ladder and stayed there until they could be shipped up north. Kelv told me that. I think he was making it up. Nevertheless, it was quite the site to behold.

-visted lots and lots of friends and family

-Chillaxed

-and basically just hung around

Kelvin did marvelous on his talk and looked very handsome. I was very proud of him!

Tune in next week for 'A Missionary Weekend Part 2' as we are venturing to Manti for Neil's farewell festivities, and then bid adieu to both of those missionaries early next week. Ta ta!
